We offer a small box ($350) and a large box ($500)
A $350 membership box in July might contain:1 pint blueberries, one half dozen corn, a head of lettuce, assorted squash, 1 pound tomatoes, 1 pound peas or beans, two cucumbers...
A $500 member’s box would be similar, containing not only a greater quantity, but also larger variety of items per week. In addition there will be plenty of opportunity to order extra seasonal produce for any special recipes you may have: all this and delivered to your area.
The season generally begins toward the end of June and continues through October. We do love our variety, but there are no guarantees in farming. Some of the items you may expect to find in your box each week:
June
Strawberries, summer squash, zucchini, lettuce, greenhouse tomatoes.
July
Blueberries, summer squash, zucchini, lettuce, field tomatoes, corn, beans, cucumbers, carrots, beets, cabbage and possibly peaches
August
Everything from July
Plus
eggplant, peppers, melons, broccoli, cauliflower, kohlrabi, apples
September
Everything from August
Plus
Red peppers, onions, potatoes, winter squash
October
Winter squash, apples, peppers, lettuce, carrots, beets, corn, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, onions, potatoes, eggplant, watermelon, pumpkins, greens
To make it easier for families to participate, Roan Family Chiropractic will have a pick up here at our office each week!
